** WHEW **

A few of you may have heard that good old Cowtown got pounded by a summer storm on Tuesday.... heres a little something to give you and Idea......

Luckily the only damage here was a small flood in the furnace room and a garden that'll take til mid August to dry out - considering the havoc it raised throughout the rest of the city and the fact that the city is asking the province for 10 MILLION for repairs........

Theres more rain in the forcast and the high water watch is still in effect along the bow it could make for an interesting weekend.

If ya need me.......

I'll be out back....

Now whats a cubit.

Man, I USED to know that.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Wil

Yep, and what's worse is that there's a severe-flood warning out in Banff, too. People are sandbagging like crazy, and two people have already died due to a mudslide...

For some reason, the video doesn't play, but I was here when that storm hit, and it really was a doozy...

As for your comment over at the reno place, all I have to say is this:

We had an incredible storm too today. The wind began to switch, the house to pitch and suddenly the hinges started to unhitch!

WOW! Some storm And like the lady says - some pretty amazing footage!
That's too bad! Do many people make their living by farming, or is it more industrial there?
The crop loss for the many farmers is always the biggest problem here when it floods.
I sure hope the best for everyone effected & I'll keep my fingers crossed there's no more flooding I'm glad you didn't suffer any major damage at your place!
Take care! Hope you have a good week-end! Let me know if you need me to send out the ARK!

Very interesting - we're having the same kind of weather round my way. Naturally, no rain where it's needed, like inland!
