Well we just passed the half way point at Stampede '07 and with 619,503 heads thru the gate it looks like we'll have no problem reaching the "magic million" mark. Even better, so far, aside from the expected bumps and bruises to both man and animal, the rodeo seems to being going off without a hitch. Hell we've even drawn the attention of Amercian television! CBSs "Early Show" sent their weather man Dave Price who not only broadcast live Tuesday morning, he spent the wee hours of the am filming "fill"... I hear cows arent too happy about gettin milked at that time of the day.
While most of the action has been taking place ON the grounds, theres plenty to do round town outside confines of Stampede Park; browse the papers the night before and chances are you can find a free Pancake breakfast SOMEWHERE. And dont even get me started on the musical acts appearing both ON and OFF the grounds.
Ok too late. Heres just SOME of the talent that have graced/will grace our city while the cowboy hats are outta mothballs
